The Managing Risk in Projects and Proposals workshop examines techniques for identifying, assessing and managing risks that are associated with proposals, contracts and projects. While designed primarily for proposal and project managers, the methods for managing risk are useful to stakeholders at all levels. Participants will explore the best practices for controlling the risks associated with costs, schedules and project performance, and will be able to immediately apply what they have learned in specific situations. The workshop focuses particular attention on risks associated with different project types: fixed price, performance-based, T&M and Cost Plus. The instructor has more than 20 years of program management experience, leading both proposal efforts and project engagements for government and commercial clients.
