    FINDING BUSINESS - Business development training, research and support. The first step in growing a business is to find opportunities, the traditional role of the organization's rainmakers. Advantage Consulting assists firms in growing that group of rainmakers to include the technical and management staff. We provide support in the areas of business development research, marketing and sales staff management, direct Federal marketing and facilitating "blind" Freedom of Information Act Requests.

    CAPTURE THE BUSINESS - Capture planning, teaming, bid/no bid analysis, capture process review, competitive analysis, must-win recompete support. Once an opportunity is identified there are well-defined steps to capturing, or closing the opportunity. In this area our support includes new business capture planning, teaming partner identification, bid/no bid analysis, and capture process review (Blue Team support).

    PROPOSAL SUPPORT FOR BIDDING NEW BUSINESS - Oral, technical & cost proposal staffing, development, coaching, management, pink and red team reviews. In the area of Government contracting there is generally a requirement to respond to a Request For Proposal (RFP) through a structured formal document and/or oral presentation. In addition to Proposal Support, we provide experts to help you obtain your GSA Schedule and BPA's.

    TASK ORDER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - GWAC, GSA Schedule and BPA support. Frequently the contract that has been won is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) vehicle. We have also participated in "turnarounds" of companies doing commercial work as well as Government contractor organizations. In addition to our work with Government contractors, Advantage Consulting has experience working with firms whose market is purely commercial. Our client base includes firms doing work in computer resale, software resale, telecommunications, Internet-based applications, web site development, and digital video applications.
